A young orphan struggles against his anti-scout, social activist foster-mother to realize his dream and become a decorated Scout like his father.
When Bernt goes behind Gerd’s back to join motley Scout troop, the Badgers, he ends up on the front lines battling Gerd for ownership of the Scout’s troop house. To save the Badgers, and achieve his dream of winning the Golden Scout Award, Bernt needs more than the uniform; he must learn honesty and integrity, despite what it may cost him.
